Video localization (using subtitles)

What we needed to do: localize 4 videos into 6 languages

What we did:
1. We transcribed the audio and created subtitles’ timing;

2. We send the timing to check by our clients, and when he approved it we sent the subtitles in .PreSub format (a special subtitles format to translate subtitles in Translating Box).

3. The client translated subtitles in TranslatingBox and sent us back translated subtitles.

4. We created SRT subtitles and burned subtitltes into the videos, considering subtitles position, size, font and the requirements to the final videos.

Video localization (subtitles): The result

We finished the video localization project within 2 weeks and delivered 24 videos with subtitltes in 6 languages (Chinese, French, German, Italian, Korean and Spanish). The client was extermely satisfied by our fast and professional work.
